The Saint Francis project is motivated by our desire to love God, who dwells in all people and their animals regardless of their age, race, religion, sex, or ethnicity, how He loves them. Our goal is to provide love, like Jesus, to those in need, as every child and creature of God deserves.
We seek not only to fulfill the poor’s physical needs but also, and most importantly, to help guide them towards salvation. We understand we are not loving like Jesus nor correctly showing Jesus’s love if we only care for God’s children’s earthly needs or simply try to help them have a greater relationship with Jesus. That is not the fullness of God’s love.
Our goal is to have God work through us to assist the poor in obtaining His grace and teaching them the way to eternal life with Christ. This was the driving goal in all that Jesus did and does. Therefore, we have made this our motive for our works too. This way, everyone can grow in their faith and come to truly believe in Jesus (nothing in this world) as the Lord, as the way to earthly and eternal happiness. As we do this, we aim to help souls grow in their hatred for sin and love for God so they can obtain true love for God and true sorrow for all the times they failed to love Him. Then they can accept the saving forgiving mercy He died to give them.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever [grows in faith and truly] believes in him [as Lord, the way to happiness] should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him [by His teachings, and the helping and saving grace He sent]” (John 3:16-17).

The Beginning
The Saint Francis Project was established in 2023 after its founder personally witnessed the gross neglect of many of God’s children and their pets living in extreme poverty. She couldn’t bear to see such injustice, both the physical and spiritual deprivation of so many, and felt compelled to take action. Upon reflecting on her own life, she realized that while she lived in abundance, getting and doing so many things she did not truly need, others lived in squalor with almost nothing. This realization caused her to feel remorse for her great sin of gluttony and fueled her desire to make amends for her actions by giving all she can to help those in extreme poverty.
Prior to this, she already had a non-profit established–For the Love of God, Inc.–to help bring knowledge of salvation to the world, so incorporating this into the work for those living in extreme physical poverty was easy. Now, she has dedicate her life towards striving to remove all self love and helping others to do the same, so we all can live solely to love Christ in His poor, working towards eliminating extreme physical and spiritual poverty in all.
Change Was Easier Than She Thought
Prior to witnessing the extreme poverty of God’s beloved children, the founder believed that she was living for God and not for herself. Although she was aware that she was not living for God perfectly, she thought that she was more selfless and giving than she actually was. She didn’t really realize how much she indulged herself in things that she didn’t need, that didn’t glorify God, and that didn’t help her to serve Him through others. These things were nothing but sources of pleasure for herself.
At first it wasn’t easy for her to give up her self-centered lifestyle and start living solely for others. The temptations of worldly pleasures still lured her, tempting her to indulge in more than what she really needed. She struggled to say yes to the love of God instead of the love of self, even though she knew that denying herself and using her time and money to help those who were suffering was God’s will.
However, after experiencing both success and failure in her attempts to combat these temptations, she eventually learned how easy it was to make true changes in herself and how grow constantly towards the image of Jesus. With this knowledge, she has developed ways to help others give up their self-centered lifestyles and start living to love those who are in extreme poverty, which is how we love to God. Learn More.
Programs Developed
The founder utilized her talents and gifts, with the help of God’s grace, to develop programs that help people and their pets. The first program developed was an animal care program, since that was her family’s business. Next, she used her prior experience of helping the homeless and needy in her community, her educational background, and her past construction experience to create programs that provide for the physical needs of people living in extreme poverty. These programs are easy to operate and effective for large groups of people. Later, she moved to spiritual assistance program, so the people she and others would be helping could have the greatest hope for best gift of all, a happy earthly and eternal life.
Hope
The Saint Francis project is currently operating in the Dominican Republic, but we hope to move to other impoverished countries across the globe.
