Thank you for expressing your interest in volunteering to help people who are living in extreme poverty. The need is significant, and your contribution can make a positive impact. No matter what your skills and abilities are, there is something for you to do on our mission trips. As it is said in the Bible, “Each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (1 Peter 4:10-11). There are different types of projects available that you can contribute to in order to help those in extreme poverty, such as:
Our volunteer programs, which involve traveling to an extreme poverty location, are currently only available to adult individuals who are in good mental and physical health and can afford the fees. However, we are planning to introduce youth programs in the future, so please check back later. Even if you are under the age requirement or cannot travel due to health or financial reasons, there are still plenty of ways you can contribute and help those in extreme poverty. You do not need to worry at all. You can make a difference by:
- Helping to Fundraise – This is a crucial aspect of our mission. Without sufficient funds, we can’t provide any help other than our smiles. Supplies and materials are needed for pretty much everything.
- Volunteering Where You Live – Not everyone can travel, and that’s okay. Opportunities for you to volunteer your time to help those in need can be found right where you live. They may not live in extreme poverty, but they are still in need. Sometimes, God’s plan for us is not what we expect, but helping anyone in need is a wonderful act of love. If you provide us with your address, age, and any disabilities you may have, we can help you find other opportunities to show God’s love by serving His children right where you live. - Becoming a Missionary In Your Local Community – Everyone, and I mean everyone who has basic comprehension skills, can be a missionary–that is, to help save souls. This is the greatest work we can do for God’s children. This was and is the entire purpose for all that Jesus did and does. Eternity is forever. Yes, even if you are bedridden or sick, you can still do missionary work. There is a wonderful purpose for your life. There are different kinds of work for people with different life circumstances.
